If you’re failing to attract clients and you have tried everything from paid advertising to organic advertising, then this is for you.
In the next 3 minutes, I’m going to share with you the Ultimate Headline Secret that the most successful businesses use to attract unlimited clients with zero effort.
95% of most businesses always get this part wrong, and it keeps them from attracting more clients/customers. Whether it’s an ad, website, letter, or message, the headline is the most crucial part of any business.
The headline is the first thing people see when they see or visit your business. You want to grab their attention by coming up big and different.
The same goes for an interview, you want to make a good impression by looking professional and smart. That way you can make it easy to qualify for a job.
Most headlines are bland. The headline should show your potential clients the outcome they’re going to get. It should be an outcome they can’t imagine, an offer they can’t say “NO” to.
A lot of interviewers look at the dressing and grooming of their candidates as a strong determining factor to fit the position applied for.
The same applies to a lot of businesses today. People are looking for solutions to their problems and if your business states the solution to the problem from the get-go as the headline then you’ll definitely attract leads & potential clients.
Poor headlines direct potential clients/customers away from your business. It’s funny how a piece of words can do so much damage to your business. As simple as it is, headlines are easy to structure especially when you know and understand the people, their problems/needs, and how to solve them.
If you don’t understand the people you are selling to, then the headline won’t mean anything to anyone. This shows that even if you have the best product in that market, you won’t make any sales with your product because you have no clients/customers.
This reminds me of the time I went for my first interview. I was given some dressing tips to follow so that I’d look presentable in the interview. It was an exercise that had marks attached. This was my list:
- Well-polished black shoe
- A dress shirt
- A belt
- A tie
- Decent pants
- Short hair
- Short beard
Well, I was in University at the time and it was the first time I got interviewed so I only followed a couple of pointers just to get a feel of what would happen.
I went with a casual look, a polo shirt, a half-decent trouser, and a pair of black polished shoes.
I nailed the interview and got a 17/20. I got -2 for the dressing and -1 for body language or something, don’t remember, anyway I still looked presentable enough not to lose a lot of marks.
As so should your headlines. Your headline should sell the future, sell the desire, and solve the problem, it should be good enough to get people interested in doing business with you.
How do you write attention-grabbing headlines?
Most people are looking for solutions to their problems so your headline should grab their attention by calling out their problem. E.g. Are they being promoted over your head? Here’s a quick way to break up a cold, Advice to wives whose husbands don’t save money-by a wife, etc.
Present the problem as the headline and you’ll get the reader’s attention to drive them in taking the action you want them to take.
Make it bold, make it big, make it specific, and don’t make it salesy.
See the headline as the first impression you’d make when meeting a beautiful woman for the first time.
A good headline is most times what a business needs to get its numbers up.
